The culture of Harambees occasioned by medical expenses and passing of our loved ones is a gamble that at times does not raise the needed monies in time and causes delay in giving them a dignified send off or having to deal with huge medical debts.

The sadness and anguish brought by illness and demise whether of yourself or your loved ones need not be aggravated by lack of finances to deal with these trying life situations.

You will have helped yourself and your loved ones a great deal were you or they passed on and a resource to deal with these inevitable life situations was already in place.

The Benevolent Fund account offered by Kenya USA Diaspora Sacco is a form of insurance that will assist you to meet burial or medical expenses for yourself, and your immediate family members i.e. husband, wife, children, father, mother or any other beneficiary as declared by you the member.

You as a member have to contribute regularly towards each beneficiary for a continuous period of 12 months before you can qualify for the benefits.

The following shall be paid upon production of a medical documents, death certificate, burial permit or other supporting documents.
Member/Contributor: KES 50,000
Spouse: KES 40,000
Child: KES 30,000
Father/Mother: KES 20,000
Other: KES 20,000


  1. Ability to be in control of unforeseen circumstances that need financial preparedness

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. You must be a member of the Main Savings Account and making regular contributions
  2. Pay a non-refundable benevolent fund application fee of KES 4,000
  3. Contribute monthly to this account: KES 1,000 per month per beneficiary
